NAD’s T778 AVR is available now from distributor, Anatech with an MSRP of £2,499 – replacing the NAD T777 V3.

The AVR features NAD’s latest Hybrid Digital Amplifier Technology with nine channels 80W Full Disclosure Power, a new front-panel touch screen for simple set up, 4K UHD video pass-through and expansion slots for future upgrades, and high-resolution BluOS enabled network streaming.

The T778 features the latest developments in NAD’s Hybrid Digital technology to create nine high current/high power channels of amplification with improved efficiency. Designed with NAD’s full disclosure approach to power ratings, the NAD AVR conservatively delivers nine times 100W FTC and nine times 80W FDP, all channels driven at rated distortion.

For flexibility, the amp channels are configurable to be used for surround or second zone audio. A low profile 3U rack-mount chassis and TFT touch display combine with certified driver support for all major control systems to make the T778 suitable for advanced custom home theatres.

Only NAD offers Modular Design Construction (MDC), the company’s method for preventing premature obsolescence. 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, DTS Master Audio combine with Dirac Live room correction to deliver what the manufacturer calls ‘hyper-realism that captures every dimension of a performance’.

As with all NAD components, the company’s latest offering continues the company’s ‘simple is better’ design philosophy.

The NAD T778 is available for immediate shipping.
