AliceThe Loewe Connect range is available in 40in and 55in screen sizes in a choice of black, silver or cappuccino.
A petrol blue trim is also available as an optional add-on kit, whilst the 48in model will join the range in 2015.
To help create a room-filling sound from a small chassis, Loewe teamed up with Soen to deliver a detailed, immersive sound – without the need for an external soundbar.
A room-filling 80W of amplification drives four forward-facing speakers, engineered with Smart Suspension, FluxForce Motors and Momentum Ports to augment the bass.
Loewe’s slim Connect series feature an integrated 1TB hard disk recorder with a dual-channel triple digital tuner.
Loewe’s hard disk recorder enables live TV to be paused and recorded. It also doubles as a video server that can be accessed by other Loewe TVs attached to the same home network.
Using the ‘Follow Me’ function, a user can pause the current programme and continue watching on another Loewe set in a different room.
The system also lets users organise recordings into folders, making content easier to find and content can be exported to USB for archive or back-up purposes.
Also available is Loewe’s free Smart Assist App for iOS and Android, whilst the ‘Smart tv2move’ feature streams the current programme – or alternative channel via the dual tuner – to the tablet.
Further to this, the TV incorporates a 5.1-channel AV decoder with support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD, meaning there is no need for an external AV receiver or an additional remote control.
The Loewe Connect integrated speaker system can also act as the centre speaker in a 5.1 set-up and Loewe also offers a range of sonically and cosmetically matched speakers for surround sound set-ups.
HD and 3D capable, the range is prepared for Ultra HD 4K images and features upscaling capabilities for Blu-ray and Freeview HD.
Connect is compatible with HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 and HEVC h265 and works with home automation control protocol RS232.
