Loewe Technology has announced the acquisition of Cabasse, in a move described as a strategic alliance between French acoustic mastery and German engineering excellence.
The deal sees Loewe Technology acquire Cabasse, a brand widely regarded as a benchmark in high-fidelity sound, as part of its ambition to establish itself as a leading name in luxury electronics. The company says the move brings together exceptional design, advanced engineering and high-performance acoustics within a unified premium ecosystem.
Founded in 1950 in Brittany, Cabasse has built a strong reputation in acoustic engineering, with proprietary technologies including its coaxial driver designs and precision sound reproduction. The company’s expertise is demonstrated in products such as the Cabasse The Pearl Pelegrina and its wider range of high-end active loudspeakers, all supported by an integrated control and application ecosystem.
With more than a century of heritage in German design and engineering, Loewe Technology is known for its premium TVs and audio systems. The company’s focus on combining advanced technology with timeless aesthetics is exemplified by products such as the Loewe Stellar.
The acquisition forms part of a broader strategic partnership, with Cabasse continuing to operate independently while maintaining its brand identity, engineering autonomy and innovation roadmap. The company remains headquartered in Brest, where research, development and production activities continue.

Loewe says it supports Cabasse through targeted investment in talent, infrastructure and product development, alongside access to its international sales network and marketing capabilities. The aim is to accelerate Cabasse’s global reach while strengthening long-term growth and profitability, says the company.
Central to the deal is Cabasse’s portfolio of proprietary technologies, including advanced loudspeaker design, digital signal processing and a strong patent base. Loewe plans to build on these capabilities to develop a new generation of high-end audiovisual products.
The collaboration is expected to enable the development of fully integrated luxury home cinema ecosystems and multi-room solutions, alongside new wireless and connected audio products. It also paves the way for advanced personalisation, sound optimisation and the integration of Cabasse’s acoustic calibration systems into future Loewe ranges, says the company.
Aslan Khabliev, CEO, Loewe Technology, says, “Cabasse represents the essence of acoustic excellence. By bringing their exceptional expertise into the Loewe world, we are taking our audio capabilities to a whole new level.”
Arnaud Hendoux, Deputy CEO, Cabasse, says, “Joining Loewe marks a new chapter in our history. We continue to innovate from Brest, true to our heritage, while benefiting from a powerful international platform to accelerate our development.”
Through the acquisition, Loewe says it strengthens its position in the luxury technology sector, with a focus on creating a complete ecosystem where performance, design and heritage combine to deliver new standards in premium audiovisual experiences. The move is also positive for the wider sector, helping to secure the future of Cabasse as a genuinely innovative and much loved brand.
