Redefining discreet: The Motion Sensor 360 – Plaster In (KNX & Volt Free)

Elevating the standard for seamless automation, the Motion Sensor 360 – Plaster In introduces an unparalleled solution for custom installers seeking near-invisible automation, say its creators. Designed for discreet integration, this cutting-edge sensor automates lighting, heating, audio-visual systems and more, while blending effortlessly into any environment. The new plaster in sensor will be available in both Volt Free (dry contact) and KNX varieties.

The Motion Sensor 360 – Plaster In features a meticulously engineered three-part design: the plaster-in mount, the sensor technology insert, and the paintable front disc. Together, these components ensure an almost invisible, fully customizable installation.

The plaster-in mount, crafted from high-grade aluminium and powder-coated for durability, provides a robust, rigid base for the sensor. It is designed for direct installation onto a 51mm hole in the drywall or plasterboard or alternatively it can be installed in both UK and EU backboxes, offering flexibility for various installation scenarios.

Once the surface is plastered and painted, the sensor insert can be easily installed. Simply feed the cable through the finished aperture, make your terminations on the sensor, and secure the insert into the mount. The spring-loaded ball bearings within the mount offer a firm hold and allow rotational adjustment, ensuring optimal detection range and performance.

The paintable front disc attaches magnetically to the sensor insert, completing the installation with a smooth, color-matched finish. This innovative design allows users to effortlessly blend the sensor with any décor and sits completely flush with the finished ceiling.

For enhanced functionality, the Motion Sensor 360 – Plaster In offers optional masking of the detection area. Included infrared-blocking stickers can be applied to the sensor to fine-tune the sensor’s detection area. Simply remove the lens cover, apply the masking sticker, and reinsert the cover.
