Turning Up the Volume: Tony Stott Joins Armour Home to Bring Audio Brands Goldring, QED and Q Acoustics Closer to Music Culture

Armour Home Electronics Ltd, the company behind award-winning audio brands Goldring, QED and Q Acoustics, has announced the appointment of Tony Stott as Brand Marketing Manager.

Tony joins Armour Home with one clear mission: to help make some of Britain’s most respected audio brands a bigger part of music culture.

It’s also a reunion. Tony and Armour Home Managing Director Charlie Henderson have worked together before, sharing a vision that great audio brands shouldn’t just build brilliant products – they should earn a place in music culture. Together, they’ve delivered campaigns that broke the mould, brought brands closer to artists and fans and proved that Hi-Fi can be every bit as exciting as the music it plays.

Over the last two decades, Tony has built a reputation for redefining how audio brands connect with people. Whether through product launches that capture the music fan’s imagination, creating campaigns with an authentic music vibe, collaborating with artists or producing standout content, he’s consistently helped audio brands become part of the music conversation – not just part of the equipment rack.

Now Tony will be bringing that same approach to Goldring, QED and Q Acoustics, while also leading marketing support for Armour Home’s UK distribution partners Grado, XGIMI and Burson Audio.

“I’ve always believed the best brands earn a place in people’s playlists as well as their homes,” says Tony. “Great products are only part of the story. It’s the music, the artists, the creativity and the culture around them that people connect with. Goldring, QED and Q Acoustics already have incredible heritage. My job is to build on that and create stories, partnerships and experiences that make even more people want to be part of what these brands stand for.”

For Armour Home Managing Director Charlie Henderson, it’s the chance to pick up where they left off.

“Tony and I have always shared the same belief – that the best audio brands become part of music culture, not just Hi-Fi culture. We’ve worked together before and seen what happens when you stop marketing products and start creating moments that people genuinely want to be part of. Tony has an incredible knack for spotting opportunities others miss and turning bold ideas into campaigns that people remember. That’s exactly the energy we’re bringing to Armour Home, and I couldn’t be happier to be working with him again.”

With Tony on board, Armour Home is turning up the volume on its ambitions – building on the engineering excellence of Goldring, QED and Q Acoustics while creating the kind of stories, collaborations and experiences that connect with music lovers everywhere.

All three owned brands will build on their recent success with key product launches throughout 2026 and early 2027.
