XGIMI HORIZON 30 Series Brings 4K 120Hz Performance to Home Entertainment

XGIMI has announced its new HORIZON 30 Series of home entertainment projectors, combining RGB Triple Laser technology, improved contrast and 4K 120Hz performance to deliver a more versatile big-screen experience for movies, sports and gaming.

First previewed at IFA 2026, the new range comprises three models: HORIZON 30 Pro, HORIZON 30 Max and HORIZON 30 Ultra Max. The series builds on the HORIZON 20 range with increased brightness, improved native contrast and enhanced motion performance.

The projectors will be available directly from XGIMI and through UK retail partners. Armour Home handles distribution to the UK professional installation channel for the XGIMI brand.

At the heart of the new range is an RGB Triple Laser light source, designed to deliver vibrant images in a variety of lighting conditions. A Dual Intelligent Iris System automatically adjusts light output according to the content, improving detail in both highlights and darker scenes.

XGIMI’s X-Master Red Ring Lens is designed to maintain image sharpness, while support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced provides compatibility with a range of premium video formats.

One of the key developments is support for 4K at 120Hz, offering smoother motion for fast-moving sports, action films and gaming. The projectors can also display native 24fps film content evenly at 120Hz, helping preserve the intended cinematic presentation without uneven frame cadence.

For gaming enthusiasts, support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and AMD FreeSync provides additional flexibility for responsive gameplay.

Installation flexibility is another focus. An integrated stand allows the projector to tilt and rotate, while optical zoom and lens shift offer greater freedom over positioning. Lens Memory can store up to five configurations, potentially proving useful when switching between conventional widescreen content and ultra-wide cinematic presentations.

XGIMI’s Intelligent Screen Adaptation technology also automates aspects of picture alignment and adjustment, reducing the time required to achieve a suitable image.

The projectors feature Google TV for integrated streaming, alongside dual 12W Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Virtual, providing an all-in-one entertainment option without requiring additional audio equipment.

For professional installers, the combination of optical adjustment, lens memory and high-refresh-rate performance could make the HORIZON 30 Series an option for multipurpose media rooms where customers want a large-screen experience without committing to a dedicated home cinema.

US pricing has been confirmed at $2,099 for the HORIZON 30 Pro, $2,699 for the HORIZON 30 Max and $3,199 for the HORIZON 30 Ultra Max. These full recommended retail prices will apply after November 11. UK pricing has not yet been confirmed.
