Daniel J SaitSnap One will make its UK premiere at EI Live! since rebranding from SnapAV + Control4. Its two award-winning business platforms – OvrC Remote Management and Control4 Smart Home OS 3 – will take centre stage, supported with a programme of on-site technical and sales training for existing partners.
Snap One says it is on a mission to deliver one seamless solution for integrators. The latest upgrades to its remote management software and the Control4 smart home operating system champions this commitment with Control4 OS 3.2.2 now adding full support for OvrC Pro to all EA and CA series Control4 controllers.
Visitors to EI Live! 2021 will be able to see how this move simplifies support by enabling remote management and servicing to all Control4 connected devices on a system. More Control4 partners will be able to offer service contracts to their clients, gain greater insights into system operation and carry out fast and accurate troubleshooting, without having to visit a site.

Training Schedule
For existing partners, Snap One will be hosting daily technical and sales training in a dedicated theatre. Each hour-long session will provide best practice guidance and actionable advice to drive business success. Partners can pre-register for a place on either session here:
Technical Training (Wednesday 29 September, 11:00 / Thursday 30 September, 14:00)
- Importance of Networking & RMM – Successfully installing in today’s modern smart home
This session looks at best practices for delivering a successful installation. Starting with RMM and an overview of the usability and power of OvrC, this training also covers networking procedures – from router to WAP management – and provides an in-depth look at the new features available with OvrC. Sales Training (Wednesday 29 September, 14:00 / Thursday 30 September, 11:00)
- Boosting your businesses potential with support and best practices from Snap One
An introduction to Snap One and its main platforms; Control4 Smart Home OS 3 and OvrC Remote Management. This training will also explore Snap One’s strategic categories as well as providing an update of its sales proposition and team structure. Partners will also receive and overview of the Partner Portal, and the company’s industry-leading initiatives including the Certified Showroom Program and Design & Build collaboration.
Five Levels of a Smart Home and Overcoming Audio Pain Points – EI Live Talks Theatre
Visitors can also catch Jason Girardier, Area Sales Manager for the UK North, Ireland and Nordics at Snap One, on the main stage at 15:35 on day one of the show. Jason will be discussing the Control4 ‘Five Levels of a Smart Home’ concept, a smart way for integrators to share knowledge with design professionals to create homes that are both beautiful and functional.
On Thursday 30 September, Phil Hardaway, Snap One’s Regional Audio Expert, will be part of a lunchtime panel discussion at 12.30, featuring Angus Murray from New Wave AV and James Brown from The Cinema Company to look at some of the most common challenges integrators face with audio and how these can be resolved.
