Star Wars: The Force Awakens is dominating everything pop-culture in December and Sky is also jumping onto the bandwagon by launching a C-3PO-branded Sky remote.
Skins for the Sky remote are nothing new, as the company already offers a wide range of remotes branded to a person’s favourite football team, Frozen or even the colours of England’s rugby squad. The latest addition is likely to please any avid fan of the Star Wars saga however.
While C-3PO is the flagship Star Wars-branded remote, there are a whole range available to please any Star Wars fan. The current selection includes R2-D2, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Yoda, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo or Princess Leia.
There’s a total of 10 remotes up for grabs, all priced at £24.99, but the C-3PO remote is by far the most iconic.

It ditches the usual matte finish associated with a typical Sky remote and instead rocks a glossier, shinier exterior; alongside a new colour scheme.
Gone is the grey and black and instead the C-3PO remote is all gold. Even the battery cover has received a golden makeover.
The new remotes are all part of Sky’s partnership with Disney; which also includes the launch of a new Sky Movies channel.
Sky Movies Star Wars will be available from December 11 until January 3, with all six films being shown back to back. Sky Movies will also be the first place to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens after it leaves cinemas.
Cinemas across the UK and Europe are gearing up the release of the latest addition to the Star Wars saga and promotional tie-ins with the movie are rife. It’s unlikely that any human living in the UK can claim to have not seen anything related to the film in the last few weeks – what with Duracell’s Star Wars ads, the countless trailers and even Air France’s promotion allowing people to see the film a day ahead of its UK release on December 17.
