Daniel J SaitRithum has launched the Rithum Home app for iOS and Android, giving users remote control of heating, cooling and hot water across their Rithum installations.
Launching alongside the app is My Rithum, a new client-facing platform designed to support system handover, configuration management, backup and restore.
The Rithum Home app mirrors the Rithum Stat interface available on the wall-mounted Rithum Switch. Each zone has its own setpoint and seven-day schedule, while Home, Away and Holiday modes can be applied across the property, with individual behaviour configured for each zone.
Scheduling continues to run locally on the Rithum Switch rather than in the cloud, allowing heating schedules to continue operating during an internet outage. The app launches with Rithum Stat control, with Rithum promising further capabilities in future updates.
For integrators, the launch provides clients with smartphone control without requiring additional hardware or the introduction of a separate control system.
My Rithum, meanwhile, acts as the client-facing counterpart to Rithum’s existing Project Portal. Following installation, integrators can invite homeowners to take ownership of their Switches through their own account while retaining their relationship with the installer.
The platform also introduces configuration backup and restore. A Switch configuration can be saved and reapplied to the same unit or a replacement, potentially simplifying warranty exchanges. Saved configurations can also be used as templates for subsequent rooms.
My Rithum is available free of charge with device status, remote restart and over-the-air firmware updates. Subscription plans add cloud-dependent features including configuration backup, remote configuration changes, extended warranties of up to four years on Standard and five years on Enhanced, plus credit towards future Rithum hardware. Plans are charged per Switch, with per-device pricing reducing as more Switches are added.

This is the Rithum Switch in your pocket, and it is included. The room still runs from the wall, as it always has — the app is simply for the times you are not standing in front of it.”
Rithum Home is available now through the App Store and Google Play, while My Rithum is also live for Rithum owners.
