Global Caché and iRemoteControl have announced a new partnership.
In addition, iRemoteControl has announced a one-stop, one room control solution available in the second quarter of 2015 available for £150, including IR control hardware, although trade discounts are available for custom installers and distributors.
“iRemoteControl, with their excellent line up of instantly usable ‘virtual remotes’ is a great partner for us, and an excellent addition that will significantly benefit our growing custom installer channel,” comments Robin Ford, global caché VP of business development. “iRemoteControl provides the next generation of ‘fill and control’ smart home configuration technology.”
“You can be up and controlling in under ten minutes per room,” states Paul Kasler, CEO of iRemoteControl.
Global Caché’s products connect almost any electrical device to a WiFi and/or IP network so it can be controlled, automated, and maintained by network-based software, such asiRemoteControl.
The company offers other connectivity products and capabilities, including IR learning and the Control Tower IR database, available in the cloud.
iRemoteControl is a software company that uses an online form filling approach to configure iPads and iPhones for whole house control – within minutes rather than hours.
In addition, the GUI that results uses ‘virtual remotes’ drawn at HD Retina resolution, rendering lifelike remotes – even the remote’s LED lights up when a button is pressed.
“In just under five minutes and with zero programming expertise you can configure iRemoteControl for a single room – or a five bedroom house in under thirty minutes,” says iRemoteControl.
Within 48 hours of the simple Configurator Form being e-mailed to iRemoteControl’s HQ, the customer will receive a custom code to download to their designated iPad or iPhone.
All a user need do is connect the iTach Flex devices into their network, attach the IR emitters onto the relevant equipment and confirm device IP addresses.
