Jordan O'BrienCrestron has announced the second external judge for its forthcoming Crestron Integration Awards 2016, with the appointment of Kate Burnett, editor of Studio, a publication designed for professionals working in residential design.
Kate has experience working in the world of interior design, having worked for one of the UK’s leading architects. Since then she has written for the likes of the Financial Times, Blueprint and Elle Decoration, alongside her consultancy work with some leading design brands.
“It’s an honour to be invited to join the judges for the Crestron Integration Awards – technology is something that can really enhance residential projects. I’m ready to be wowed by the standard of the entries which represent the cutting edge of what can currently be achieved in the home.”
Kate will be joining fellow judges Petra van Meeuwen, customer media relations director, Crestron; Paddy Baker, editor of Installation and Robin van Meeuwen, CEO Crestron EMEA.
Judging will take place in January 2016 and the winners will be announced at ISE 2016 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The awards are exclusive to Crestron integrators in the EMEA region and honour the work they do to exceed customer expectations and showcase the range of Crestron solutions reflected in their projects.
In order to be eligible for the 2016 Crestron Commercial Integration Awards, projects must have been completed between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015. This year’s categories are:
• Best User Experience (in the house and at work)
• Best Corporate Install
• Best Lighting System
• Best Integrated Home
• Unique Application
• Most Innovative Solution
• Best Education project
• The Ultimate Crestron Award
Authorised Crestron dealers can go online and submit their entries. Deadline for entries is Friday 8th January 2016.
