Faradite Begins Shipping Cresnet-Enabled Keypads and Motion Sensors

Faradite has confirmed that its new range of Cresnet-compatible keypads and motion sensors is now available to order, following its preview of the products at ISE 2026.

Designed for seamless integration with Crestron control systems, the range supports both custom Crestron programming and Crestron Home installations.

The launch includes the TAP-5 keypad range alongside the Motion Sensor 360 family, giving installers additional options for discreet control and automation across residential and commercial projects.

The Motion Sensor 360 combines motion detection with ambient light and temperature sensing, allowing it to automate lighting, heating, AV and other connected systems from a compact 49mm housing. Faradite notes that temperature sensing is not currently supported within Crestron Home, although it is available when used with custom Crestron programming.

Also available is the Motion Sensor 360 Plaster In (Mud In in North America), offering the same functionality in a version designed to blend almost invisibly into finished ceilings. The paintable surround leaves just 17mm of the sensor visible once installed, making it well suited to projects where a minimalist finish is required.

Faradite’s TAP-5 ORE keypad features a hand-finished 8mm brass faceplate, five programmable capacitive touch buttons, adjustable RGBW status LEDs, bespoke engraving options and integrated temperature sensing. As with the motion sensor, the temperature function is not supported within Crestron Home, but can be included via custom programming. The keypad is offered in brushed antique brass, brushed nickel, brushed brass and brushed Jordan bronze finishes.

To support the new products, Crestron Home systems must be running version 4.10 or later. Installers using SIMPL Windows or SIMPL Sharp Pro should ensure they are using database version 200.457.001.00 or newer to enable support for the Faradite range.
