A new website offers more information, easier navigation and a better insight into the products and support services offered by Redline. Marketing Manager, Warren Woodhouse, explains the full story.
Behind the scenes we have been working on ways to offer more to our dealers on top of the fantastic brands that we deliver into the UK AV and install market. Communication is of course key, so one of our initiatives has been to re-design and refresh our website. A feature of our customer’s working lives is that time tends to be of the essence and so visitors to our website don’t have lots of time to search for the things they need, so we wanted to de-clutter a little and just make the site easier to navigate to the areas that are relevant to each visitor, every time they visit.
We also wanted the site to be a better experience for those not so familiar with the company and the brands we supply. Finding out about who we are, what we do and how we do it, is now much easier, faster and provides a better route into getting involved with Redline. We have also created an updated logo to keep things fresh and show our ambition to continue to evolve to match the needs and ambitions of our installation partners.
A better journey
Landing on the home page, visitors will notice a cleaner more attractive look with the top of the page providing tabs to access information about the brands we carry, our new White Glove Service (more about that very soon), full contacts for the company and tabs to give immediate access to our useful download area that provides a wealth of information for installation procedures as well as data sheets. Also at the top of the page is the exclusive Dealer Area where our customers can gain access to trade price lists, firmware updates, Control4 and Crestron drivers for the Backpack amplifier as well as special videos focusing on Amina and Artison installation procedures. This area also delivers access to any system special offers currently available.
The home page also offers a short history of the company and what makes our approach compelling in terms of not just carefully curated range of products, but full technical sales and support services as well as installation support too. Right from the off, visitors can understand the Redline proposition.
We are always of course keen to showcase new products when they arrive, so as well as our regular news releases, a little further down the home page there is now a New Products section showcasing some of the latest releases from The Redline stable. This section will feature just released or soon to be released lines. Currently the Totem Acoustic Kin Force and Kin Solo are showcased arriving Q1 this year, take a look, some more awesome releases from this fantastic brand.
Scroll down just a little further on the home screen (or choose the brands tab right at the top) and visitors access the deep dive sections for all our brands. Here you can learn more about each brand, its approach, design ethos what sort of projects they are suitable for and of course discover more about the current range.
Towards the bottom of the home page visitors can also gain full access to information on our new White Glove Service.
We are very excited about this new initiative which formalises and focuses in on the support we provide for the Amina brand of hidden audio speakers. The specification of hidden speaker audio products has increased in recent years, due in no small part to the significant advancements in the quality of the audio delivered, which can now be coupled to the brand’s ability to be installed almost anywhere into any type of room and cope with a wide range of decors. Managing growth for installation companies can be problematic, so we are very keen to offer all of the experience our team has built up over the years in specifying and installing Amina. Much more about this in the very near future. Meanwhile, read this section and you will get a good idea of what is going to be offered.
Next to last stop on the home page is our Meet The Team section. We are a small, but very dedicated and experienced bunch, we each have clearly defined roles and a strong commitment to not just offer a great selection of products, but provide the kind of friendly in-person support that today’s e-commerce-based systems simply can’t deliver.
Final stop on the home page are the tabs to our social media accounts, we are very active on LinkedIn and Twitter, so check out our feeds, give us a follow and stay fully in touch with everything we are up to as it happens.
