IsoTek is unveiling two landmark new products – the V5 Genesis and V5 Super Titan – at High-End Vienna, where together they form the centrepiece of IsoTek’s flagship Ultimate Series and aim to set a new benchmark for what clean, stable, distortion-free power can do for a high-end audio system.

The V5 Genesis is IsoTek’s most advanced mains power generator – and the culmination of six years of focused research and development. Building on the brand’s Genesis platform, this fifth-generation version raises every aspect of the design: tighter tolerances, improved materials and an enhanced protection circuit that digitally measures voltage fluctuations within microseconds to ensure immediate corrective action.

Where conventional ‘regenerators’ attempt to reconstruct an ideal mains sine wave by referencing the incoming supply, the Genesis takes a fundamentally different approach. It generates a completely new, ultra-low-distortion sine wave from scratch, independently, within two identical 300W generation cells.

Each cell produces a fully optimised signal via a synchronous sine wave generator, amplified by a Class A/B engine and passed through a high-quality output transformer with copper foil shielding between primary and secondary windings. The result is 600W of continuous, newly generated power – pure, stable and entirely independent of the quality of the incoming supply.

The THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) figure tells the story: V5 Genesis achieves a low 0.05%, rising only to 0.17% under typical loads and remaining below 0.3% even with the most demanding components. For comparison, European mains standards permit 230V ± 10%; Genesis holds output to 230V ± 2%.

IsoTek’s founder and managing director Keith Martin comments, “We looked at existing regeneration systems and thought ‘we can build something better. Six years of extensive R&D later, the first Genesis was born. The new V5 version takes this technology to the next level. No other device delivers such ultra-low levels of distortion with such unerring consistency and the resultant uplift in sound quality is remarkable: clearer, smoother and better defined, more open, dynamic and engaging.”

Each of the four fully-isolated output sockets is completely independent – no two are connected together, eliminating cross-contamination between components. A front-panel OLED display shows input/output voltage and THD, power consumption and generation engine status in real time. The dual-cell architecture also enables independent power-down of either cell, reducing energy consumption when not all outputs are in use.

The V5 Genesis is optimised for front-end components – sources and preamplifiers – and is an ideal partner for the V5 Super Titan. It sits within the unique ISIS (Independent System Isolation Support) chassis, a suspended sub-chassis developed with acoustic materials specialist Kurt Olbert of Clearlight Audio, which eliminates microphonic and subsonic vibration from the signal path while its stackable design allows both Ultimate Series products to be used together with minimal footprint. IsoTek’s award-winning Optimum power cable is included.

Where the Genesis is the reference solution for source components, the V5 Super Titan is built for the most demanding load in any system: the power amplifier. It is, by IsoTek’s own reckoning, the world’s most powerful audiophile mains cleaning system – capable of delivering almost 8,000W of continuous power.

Achieving this required a fundamental rethink of the V5 circuit. Current delivery is doubled versus its predecessor; resistance is reduced; and copper loading on the PCB is tripled. The Super Titan’s proprietary Direct-Coupled circuit topology works in combination with four seven-stage filter networks arranged in a series-parallel configuration – analogous to a multi-cylinder engine sharing the workload rather than a single oversized unit.

These bespoke filter networks span an extremely wide frequency band, with specialist choke designs that address mains anomalies as low as 5Hz. The circuit runs continuously at 32A, with Differential Mode and Common Mode noise removed and an RFI reduction of approximately 85dB.

The sonic benefit is immediately apparent: amplifiers connected to the Super Titan deliver more dynamic range, greater bandwidth, improved bass slam and articulation, and a markedly more expansive sound stage.

Internal wiring uses ultra-pure Ohno Continuous Cast copper solid-core conductors with silver plating, insulated with a Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) dielectric to create what IsoTek calls a Virtual Air Dielectric – the lowest-resistance, highest-performance internal wiring available.

KERP (Kirchoff’s Equal Resistance Path) ensures precisely equal power delivery to all four outlets. A further 153,000A of instantaneous protection is provided via IsoTek’s sequential and repeatable protection system.

Like the Genesis, the Super Titan uses the ISIS suspended sub-chassis and features four fully isolated high-current outputs. An Auxiliary System Link connection point allows a V5 Genesis to be added and powered directly, making the two units a seamlessly integrated system. An Optimum cable is included.

Used together, the V5 Genesis and V5 Super Titan provide comprehensive, high-performance mains optimisation for an entire audio system. The Genesis handles the precision-power demands of front-end components; the Super Titan unleashes the full potential of power amplifiers.

Both share the same chassis dimensions (500 × 500 × 300mm), enabling a clean, stacked installation.
