Lewis CaliburnHisense has announced a collaboration with VIDAA and A Parent Media Co. Inc. (APMC), owner of Kidoodle.TV, to reportedly become the first and only UK manufacturer to offer a dedicated Safe Streaming remote, launching this month across its 2026 television range.
This launch addresses intensifying concerns regarding the digital safety of children and a continued commitment by Hisense, Kidoodle.TV and VIDAA to shield younger audiences from harmful content.
Designed for small hands, the kids remote, powered by Kidoodle.TV, provides a dedicated gateway to a safe, human-vetted digital environment. The remote connects exclusively to VIDAA Kids, where every show is hand-curated and screened by real people. The remote gives children the independence to explore their favourite content, while offering parents peace of mind.
VIDAA and APMC previously announced VIDAA Kids Powered by Kidoodle.TV, as a safe place for child-focused streaming with access to age-appropriate content. The new Kids remote allows children to easily access VIDAA Kids and watch over 50,000 episodes from some of the most popular children’s TV series, such as PAW Patrol: Pup Tales, Baby Shark, and Like Nastya.
Beyond solving for online safety, the remote’s interface features recogniSable icons and voice commands, enabling kids to freely explore and find their favourite shows.
