CUK Group has announced a new partnership with AUDIOropa, the professional AV division of German assistive technology manufacturer HUMANTECHNIK, expanding its portfolio of accessible audio solutions for the UK integration market.
The agreement introduces a range of assistive listening technologies designed to help integrators deliver more inclusive audio experiences across public, commercial and cultural environments.
The AUDIOropa portfolio includes induction loop systems, infrared audio transmission, window intercom systems and a growing selection of Auracast products. The partnership also brings Bettear’s range of Auracast and Wi-Fi audio transmission systems to UK integrators for the first time.
Bettear’s Auracast ecosystem includes transmitters, receivers and tools for system deployment, management and control of access to audio streams. It can also be integrated with B-SHOW, the company’s professional audio-over-Wi-Fi streamer, enabling hybrid installations that support a wider range of users’ personal devices.
With awareness of Auracast growing, the technology is creating new opportunities for AV integrators working in environments such as theatres, conference facilities, museums and other public venues. By allowing compatible hearing aids, earbuds and other receiving devices to access audio broadcasts directly, Auracast has the potential to simplify assistive listening while extending its benefits to a wider audience.
Stuart Thomson, CEO of CUK Group, says, “The conversation around accessibility is changing. End users are looking beyond compliance and asking how technology can improve the experience for every visitor. Auracast represents a significant shift for the industry because it has the potential to make assistive listening more accessible, scalable and easier to adopt. Combined with Bettear’s platform and AUDIOropa’s wider portfolio, it gives integrators solutions they can specify today while preparing for the future of accessible audio.”
The full range of AUDIOropa and Bettear products is now shipping from CUK’s distribution centre in East Kilbride.
