Dirac has announced that its Dirac Live Room Correction solution is being made available on additional Denon AV receivers, expanding access to the company’s room acoustics optimisation technology for more home cinema users.

Support is being added to the Denon AVR-X2900H, AVR-X3900H, AVR-X2900H DAB and AVC-X3900H, giving users the ability to calibrate their systems to the acoustic characteristics of their listening spaces.

Dirac says the expanded compatibility enables more home cinema systems to benefit from its room correction platform, which is designed to address both magnitude and phase distortions caused by room acoustics. According to the company, this results in improved clarity, more precise imaging and a more consistent listening experience across multiple seating positions.

Rikard Hellerfelt, VP & Head of BA Consumer Electronics at Dirac, says, “Great sound isn’t defined by components alone, it’s defined by how those components interact with the space. Expanding Dirac Live to the Denon receiver lineup continues to make advanced room correction more accessible, giving more listeners the ability to hear their systems as they were meant to perform – regardless of the listening space or its complexities.”

The Denon AVR-X2900H, AVR-X3900H, AVR-X2900H DAB and AVC-X3900H are designed for multi-channel home audio and video playback and feature HEOS integration for multi-room entertainment experiences across dedicated cinema rooms and living spaces.

Dirac highlights the AVR-X2900H 7.2-channel AVR as offering customers an accessible upgrade path into advanced room correction, while the AVR-X3900H’s 11.4-channel processing and four independent subwoofer outputs are designed to take greater advantage of technologies such as Dirac Live Bass Control and Active Room Treatment.

The company says these additional processing capabilities can significantly improve low-frequency performance and overall room integration for more complex home cinema environments.

Dirac Live Room Correction will be available as an upgrade for the recently launched Denon AVR-X2900H, AVR-X3900H, AVR-X2900H DAB and AVC-X3900H from May 18, 2026.
