Olibra, the privately-owned New Jersey tech company that created and sells the award-winning Bond Bridge RF-to-WiFi control platform, has announced that its Bond Bridge Pro is now compatible with Loxone, a European brand for building and home automation.
The Bond Bridge Pro brings intuitive and consolidated control to the many motorised window shades, awnings, pergolas, ceiling fans and gas fireplaces at the home or business. Users manage these from within the Bond Home app (iOS and Android) and/or compatible home automation system. The app brings additional benefits such as scheduling and compatibility with virtual assistance platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, SmartThings apps and Josh.ai. The Bridge is easy for installers to set up.
The Bond platform is increasingly becoming recognised as the preferred way to control these types of appliances. The Bond says it has earned this leadership position for its extreme flexibility (collaborating with brands), simple set-up, exceptional range and reasonable pricing.
Loxone designs, develops and sells lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, shading, and audio system solutions for commercial and custom residential channels. Users interface with the Loxone ecosystem via the company’s smartphone app.
The Loxone engineering team have written a driver allowing the integration of the Bond Bridge Pro into the Loxone ecosystem. The driver becomes available on February 21, 2024. As the Loxone ecosystem is steeped in energy management, shading, wellness, climate, access and lighting solutions, the compatibility of Bond and Loxone, according to the companies, makes for a more enjoyable and energy-efficient life within commercial and home environments.
