Sonos is probably the easiest and most cost-effective multi-room system to install, even if it’s not the best money can buy. That’s why it has become a popular addition to an installer’s arsenal, but there’s now an even better way of controlling a Sonos system. That’s because URC’s whole home system, Total Control 2.0, has been granted the “Works with Sonos” badge of quality.
Using Total Control 2.0, either through an app, desktop controller, or Wi-Fi remote, end-users can browse favourites, manage grouping, and take advantage of advanced automation features from the Sonos multi-room audio range.
“URC Total Control 2.0 is an incredibly versatile control solution that’s intuitive to use and easy to customise to meet homeowner tastes and preferences,” says Stuart Tickle, AWE’s Managing Director.
“We’re committed to making the URC experience as seamless, convenient and enjoyable as possible for all our customers. This latest URC certified control module ensures that installers can achieve fast, simple and reliable Sonos integration and brings an attractive feature set that will appeal strongly to their customers. It’s another great reason to go for Total Control 2.0.”
URC isn’t the first smart home developer to receive the coveted ‘Works with Sonos’ bage of approval. Lutron, Wink, Yonomi, ABB, and Niko also offer Sonos integration into their whole home control system. To get started with Total Control 2.0’s integration, installers will need to get the Sonos module, which is available via URC’s dealer portal.
