Installation and Fire Safety
The E300A is designed for seamless integration into new builds, renovations, or extensions. The main unit and speakers are fitted in the ceiling, eliminating clutter. With a certified fire-resistant rating of 60 minutes, it maintains fire safety without the need for an additional fire hood.
Smart Home Integration
Suitable for any room, the E300A can drive a single space, a multi-room system, or an entire smart home setup. Integrated Amazon Alexa voice control is powered by three far-field microphones for 360-degree coverage. An LED light ring provides interaction confirmation, adjusting automatically to ambient light. E300A also integrates with other Alexa-compatible smart home devices, including lighting, thermostats, and security systems.
A supplied remote control and the Q Net app (available on iOS and Android) allow users to adjust EQ settings, source selection and Wi-Fi setup.
High-Fidelity Streaming
The E300A supports Amazon Music, Apple AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, and Spotify Connect Hi-Fi. Users can stream via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity with smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
TV Audio Enhancement
A combined mini Toslink socket offers optical digital and 3.5mm analogue audio input. Users can connect an optical digital cable to a TV for high-fidelity sound output, switching sources via the remote control or app.
Speaker Compatibility
The E300A’s high-quality stereo amplifier delivers 2 x 25W at 6 ohms, optimised for Q Acoustics’ in-ceiling and in-wall speaker range. It supports up to four speakers in a room or across multiple zones. Additionally, any passive speakers rated between 6-8 ohms can be connected.
