Paul Wafer, Managing Director of Rako Controls, saYS, “WOW!house is a unique celebration bringing together some of the most talented names in the design industry. We are delighted to be involved in this year’s event and to support both Sara Cosgrove and Albion Nord in bringing their design visions to life. Great lighting should enhance the way a space feels without drawing attention to itself and intelligent control plays an important role in creating that experience. We’re looking forward to showing visitors how thoughtful lighting can elevate exceptional interiors.”

At WOW!house 2026, visitors will see how intelligent lighting control can elevate interiors, helping to create environments that are not only visually striking but also comfortable, adaptable and engaging.

Designed by interior designer Sara Cosgrove in collaboration with Phillip Jeffries, the Morning Room has been conceived as a calm, uplifting retreat from the pace of modern life.

Described by Cosgrove as an “analogue sanctuary”, the room celebrates slower living through thoughtfully considered materials, craftsmanship and texture. A palette of celadons, creams and soft lilac tones creates a sense of tranquillity, while layered finishes and tactile surfaces encourage visitors to pause, reflect and reconnect with their surroundings.

Rako’s lighting control supports this vision by enabling subtle transitions throughout the day, allowing the ambience to evolve naturally while enhancing the richness of the room’s materials and finishes.

Designed by Albion Nord in collaboration with Turnell & Gigon Group, the Drawing Room reinterprets the traditional Georgian drawing room for contemporary living.

The octagonal room draws inspiration from classical architecture and historic interiors, combining elegant proportions with layered textiles, bespoke detailing and carefully selected decorative elements. While rooted in tradition, the scheme demonstrates how heritage influences can be reimagined for modern homes.

Integrated discreetly throughout the room, Rako’s lighting control helps highlight texture, materiality and fine detailing, enabling the setting to transition from refined daytime elegance to a warm and inviting evening environment.
