Lewis CaliburnFlexson, the dedicated Sonos accessories brand, has announced the Flexson In-Ceiling Mount for Sonos (FLXE100ICM1011), a professional-grade mounting solution that installs a Sonos Era 100/SL, Era 100 Pro or Sonos One/One SL directly into the ceiling.
The result is the clean, architectural finish of a custom install – the speaker sits flush behind a discreet grille – with the simplicity of a plug-and-play speaker set-up.
For integrators, the mount opens up projects where a traditional custom-install approach was never realistic. A conventional Sonos CI system means a Sonos Amp plus a pair of passive in-ceiling speakers for every zone – with the rack space, amplifier locations, speaker cable runs and budget to match.
Many installs simply don’t have any of those: retrofits, apartments, smaller rooms and cost-conscious projects where the numbers don’t stack up. The Flexson In-Ceiling Mount delivers a fully integrated Sonos zone at a fraction of that cost, with no amplifier to house, no cable runs back to a rack, and nothing new for the end user to learn.

The simplest install option is the Era 100 Pro – Sonos’ Power over Ethernet speaker which pairs perfectly with the mount. Where CAT5e/CAT6 is already in place, a single cable delivers both power and audio: no local mains spur, no electrician call-back, dramatically reduced first-fix time.
The mainstream choice is the Era 100/SL. Sonos’ current-generation compact speakers drop straight into the mount for a premium wireless in-ceiling zone.
Meanwhile, the budget-conscious and upgrade path choice is the Sonos One/One SL. The mount is fully compatible with these earlier speakers, which run on the same Sonos S2 app, so end users on a tighter budget get exactly the same day-to-day experience as an Era 100 owner. Customers who already own a One or One SL can move it into the ceiling for a professional CI finish at minimal extra cost.
Like every Flexson product, the In-Ceiling Mount is engineered specifically for Sonos hardware. The speaker is held securely in a purpose-designed cradle inside the ceiling void, with integrated cable management for a tidy, serviceable installation and is concealed behind a paintable grille – available with round or square bezel options – that sits flush with the ceiling for a finish indistinguishable from architectural speakers.
