IMMERSIO: Continued Innovation
From a product platform perspective, the focus will be on a world-first concept, IMMERSIO. Procella explains that this new product category combines its advanced audio technology with various sizes of high-performance LED screens. Already showcased at the most recent ISE, the promotions of this new platform now moves the pro-cinema world at CineEurope.
The company says IMMERSIO addresses the challenge of maintaining audio impact when using LED screens, where speakers cannot traditionally be positioned behind the display surface. Procella adds that the system maintains alignment between image and audio by drawing on its experience in placing sound precisely where it is needed to create an immersive audience experience.
The company also points to its experience of delivering more than 300 cinema rooms featuring specialist sound systems for non-perforated screens as a key factor in the development of IMMERSIO and bringing the concept to market.
The range is offered in Premium and Elite lines, with screen sizes spanning from 4m² to 11m². Procella says advanced 23-bit colour processing and support for up to 12-bit input deliver high image quality across a wide range of luminance levels. The company adds that the system provides rich colours and deep contrast, helping all types of content perform at their best.
This is combined with integrated Procella Audio speakers designed to deliver sound in complete sync with on-screen action.
Visitors to the stand will be able to learn more about this new product category and its potential long-term applications in the world of high-performance cinema.
