Procella Audio will arrive at CEDIA Expo 2026 with a clear message for integrators: whatever the scale, layout or ambition of a cinema or media room project, the company has an expansive and innovative range of solutions designed to deliver the performance demanded by immersive cinema.
Visitors to Booth 3432 in Denver, September 2–4, will be able to experience the latest evolution of the Procella range, led by the newly reinvented P8 loudspeaker and the expanding UNO Series of single-driver subwoofers. The Procella team will also be discussing Immersio, the company’s dedicated approach to combining reference-quality Procella audio with the latest high-performance large-format LED display technology.
At the heart of the presentation will be the P8, a comprehensive redevelopment of one of the most important loudspeakers in Procella’s history.
The P8 has long occupied a central position within the Procella range, designed to reproduce the full dynamic range of high-resolution music and film soundtracks while maintaining extremely low distortion, studio accuracy and audiophile sound quality. For 2026, Procella’s engineers have taken that established platform and reworked key elements to deliver even greater performance.
The pro audio 1in compression driver is mounted on a custom Procella elliptical waveguide to deliver controlled directivity, without dynamic compression, even when working at high SPL. This is combined with a custom high-performance 8in mid-bass driver and Procella’s Identical Voices crossover for an exact timbre match to the rest of the Procella speaker family.
The result is a new generation of P8 that builds on the performance characteristics of the original while providing integrators with an updated platform for today’s high-performance home theatre installations.
Also on display will be the P5, Procella Audio performance at its most affordable. The compact P5 delivers a full dynamic range experience designed to deliver Procella signature sound for smaller spaces. The P5 is also an excellent choice when a compact surround and height speaker is required.
Like the rest of the range, the P5 sets the benchmark for output and dynamic range in its size and price category. This clever speaker can be mounted vertically or horizontally and can even be mounted on the ceiling due to its 80-degree circular waveguide and 1in pro compression driver.
For low frequency performance, Procella is presenting the new UNO Series, created to give integrators a coherent family of low-frequency solutions capable of scaling across a wide variety of projects.
Rather than approaching UNO as a catalogue of individual subwoofers, Procella has engineered the range as a complete platform. The five models – U12, U15, U18, U21 and U24 – share the same fundamental engineering philosophy and performance signature. This means integrators can move from a compact installation using a smaller UNO model through to large dedicated cinemas employing multiple higher-output units while maintaining consistent tonal balance, transient response and decay characteristics.
That scalability reflects Procella’s professional cinema heritage. The company’s reference points are post-production stages, dubbing theatres and commercial cinemas, where systems must sustain reference-level output, maintain low distortion under continuous demand and reproduce the impact of a soundtrack without fatigue.
UNO brings those principles into residential and commercial cinema installations in enclosure formats developed around the practical requirements of integration. Shallow cabinet construction and installation-friendly dimensions provide options for behind-screen positioning, baffle walls and dedicated low-frequency chambers, while the range can be deployed as individual subwoofers or arrays of two, four or more units where additional headroom is required.
From a U12 in a compact room to multiple U21 or U24 subwoofers in a large reference cinema, the objective remains the same: predictable, scalable low-frequency performance that gives the integrator confidence from initial system design through to final calibration.
Immersio: The Complete LED and Audio Solution
CEDIA Expo will also provide an opportunity to discover how Procella is responding to another significant change in high-end cinema design: the increasing adoption of large-format LED displays.
Traditional projection systems allow loudspeakers to be positioned behind an acoustically transparent screen, creating the close relationship between picture and sound that cinema designers have relied upon for decades. With LED displays, that approach is not possible, creating a new challenge for integrators seeking the benefits of LED without compromising audio performance.
Procella developed Immersio specifically to address this emerging requirement. The concept combines Procella loudspeakers with a high-performance LED screen to create a unified audio and video solution for modern media spaces and dedicated cinemas, based on Procella’s experience of delivering on this need.
Available in Premium and Elite lines, with screen sizes spanning 4m² to 11m², Immersio draws on concepts originally developed for commercial cinema environments where positioning loudspeakers behind the screen was not possible, but audio and image still needed to be locked together in perfect harmony. The result provides integrators with another route to delivering highly immersive cinema where LED is preferred, whether that is a more flexible media room environment or a dedicated high-performance theatre.
