Daniel J SaitNew from Pan Acoustics is the compact P 261-AMT | Cine passive loudspeaker, specially developed for surround, immersive sound, theatre and cinema applications.
According to the manufacturer, the Cine differs significantly from most classic point source speakers. The P 261-AMT | Cine uses a custom made Mundorf AMT tweeter unit in a D’Appolito setting, which is completed with two 6.5in chassis.
The P 261-AMT | Cine ensures a coordinated bass reflex system and reaches a frequency response of 50 to 24,000 Hz and 127dB at 1m.
The loudspeaker contains two 6.5in HQ drivers and a specially developed AMT tweeter from Mundorf. The housing is made of aluminium and can be painted in all colours according to customer requirements. The chassis are protected from external influences by a perforated plate integrated in the design.
