Daniel J SaitOrigin Acoustics has expanded its UK distribution strategy by appointing Alltrade as a new distributor for its architectural loudspeaker portfolio. From July, the manufacturer’s Origin Acoustics and OriginPRO ranges will be available through Alltrade’s nationwide branch network, while products will also continue to be supplied by Custom AV Distribution.
The expanded partnership significantly increases the availability of Origin Acoustics products for UK custom installers, giving dealers access through one of the country’s largest trade distribution businesses with local branch support and rapid delivery.
The two companies have already been working together through the distribution of Origin’s SpeakerSnap mounting solution. That relationship has now been extended to include the manufacturer’s complete architectural speaker offering, making the full portfolio available across Alltrade’s ten UK locations.
By combining local stockholding with next-day delivery to most of the UK, the agreement is designed to help integrators source products more efficiently, whether for planned installations or projects requiring immediate availability.
Origin Acoustics has long focused on simplifying installation for custom installers. Its patented bayonet ring mounting system enables multiple speaker models to share the same ceiling cut-out while allowing tool-free installation, helping to reduce installation time and providing greater flexibility when changing product specifications.

Origin Acoustics was established in 2014 by members of the team responsible for pioneering several early in-wall and fully pivoting in-ceiling loudspeaker designs. Today the brand is available in more than 50 countries worldwide. The latest agreement further strengthens Alltrade’s architectural audio offering following its recognition as Distributor of the Year at the Smart Building Awards 2025.
