Optoma has just launched two new 4K ISF certified electric screens, suitable for both business and home use, to complement its range of 4K UHD projectors.
The 16:9 screens (DE-9120ETT and DE-9106ETT) have been designed with a unique tension adjustment system that keeps the screen fabric tensioned at every point. The special matte white fabric contains a layer of diamond patterns designed to enhance picture quality and colour, and maximise the performance of ultra-high definition content.
Bob Johnson, product manager at Optoma Europe says, “As Optoma is the number one brand for 4K UHD projectors worldwide*, we have launched these screens to complement our growing range of 4K UHD projectors. The screens will ensure our customers get the best possible experience from their equipment whether this be for business or home use – screening movies or sharing presentations.”
As well as the ISF certification, Optoma claims the 106in and 120in screens feature one of the best mounting systems on the market, making them quick and easy to install. Two small L-shaped brackets fit to the wall or ceiling anywhere along the length of the case. Once the screen is clipped into the brackets an aluminium level secures it in position.
The IR receiver on the front of the curved case can be controlled with a simple hand held remote. If the screen is installed behind a pelmet, or recessed into the ceiling, a small external IR eye is also included. Its 12V trigger input allows the screen to be activated from any projector or AV control system with a 12-volt output.
