Prove your humanity

Pulse-Eight is expanding its neo line-up of HDBaseT products, with the new neo:4 professional matrix with HDCP and mirrored modules.

Those familiar with the neo line will find it easy to get going with the neo:4, as it boasts the same web interface control system as the other products in the company’s roster. In addition, Pulse-Eight has now added a free web App designed to allow users to control their source devices like a virtual remote.

That’s not the only addition to the neo:4 however, as the UHD Alliance has approved the product against its stringent specifications, which the organisation claims will only be given to the ‘best of the best’.

Alongside compatibility for 4K content, users will also find the neo:4 supporting HDCP 2.2, the latest generation of content protection.

Several high profile manufacturers have already stated that in order to view some of the latest 4K content on the market, users will need to have a device supported HDCP 2.2. If a device lacks that protection, then the user won’t see a thing.

As with all of Pulse-Eight’s matrix products, the neo:4 supports British manufacturing as it is built in Poole.
