Jordan O'BrienHDanywhere has been teasing the launch of an extremely secretive new product, codenamed ‘X’, for a few weeks now – but the company is finally ready to share a few more details. Having confirmed that the event will be taking place the evening before Essential Install Live! North on October 11, HDanywhere has now revealed the location of the event – with the company taking over screen five at the nearby Odeon Cinema at Manchester Printworks.
The privately-hired screen will be used to show off the company’s new multi-room HDMI distribution solutions, alongside some ‘major product announcements’. While it may sound all cloak and daggers at the moment, the company says it has a good reason for this approach.
Chris Pinder, managing director of HDanywhere, notes: “With nearly two-years of behind-closed-doors product innovations to reveal, there has never been a more exciting time to bring the installer community together. We’ve kept a lot underwraps over the past year, and what we reveal at the X event is sure to get people talking.”
HDanywhere is set to be the headline sponsor of Essential Install Live! North, which is part of the reason behind its planned event. Show-goers won’t only get the opportunity to go to the launch event however, as the company is also keen to get the industry to let their hair down. HDanywhere has confirmed that there will be an exclusive X after party in Shooters Bar (in the basement of the Bierkeller Bar in Manchester Printworks).
