This unit caters to this with a 100 BaseT Ethernet port on the receiver unit ready for use.
The new extender makes full use of 5Play technology to deliver convergence of full, uncompressed HD video, high quality audio, Ethernet, power over Ethernet and a range of control signals through a single Cat5e cable.
Video inputs of 1080p at 60Mhz or VESA: 1920×1200 at 60Hz can be delivered up to 100m and 4Kx2K at 30MHz signals are supported up to 70m.
Audio quality is equally well served with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD master audio pass through on the HDMI output.
Powering is both simple and flexible allowing a user to power both the transmitter and the receiver from either one end or the other using the PSU supplied in the kit.
Control is possible via the bi-direction IR facility and an IR transmitter.
