Jordan O'BrienDuring a recent installation, home cinema provider, Mango Vision, required a weatherproof outdoor TV enclosure to complete a major residential garden refurbishment in Hadley Wood, North London.
In order to meet the specification needed Mango approached Duratek Solutions for its 47in enclosure.
Mango also had to have the enclosure within 24 hours, which Duratek could provide.
The home cinema provider had been tasked with fitting an outdoor TV into a recessed space as part of their customer’s outdoor feature wall.
Having already carried out a major refurbishment of the garden, which included installation of a hot tub and custom outdoor furniture, the outdoor TV was to be the centrepiece of the project.
Mango utilised the specially designed bezel of the Duratek outdoor TV enclosure to mount the unit to a wooden frame and then enclosed the enclosure within a slate wall.
The project in its entirety took two days to complete between April 22 and April 23, 2015. The enclosure itself had been installed in less than an hour.
