CYP has announced the launch and availability of its latest range of HDBaseT matrices.
Featuring 4K resolution support and HDCP2.2 compliance with eight HDMI inputs and eight HDBaseT outputs, these matrices have been optimised to provide integrators with the required technology to install a comprehensive 4K AV distribution system.
The PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 8×8 HDMI HDBaseT matrix boasts 5-Play convergence, 4K resolution support, HDCP 2.2 compliance, LAN Serving and PoC (Power over Cable) which negates the need to use a PSU for each receiver unit.
The PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 supports the transmission of video and multi-channel digital audio from eight HDMI sources to eight HDBaseT outputs via single Cat5e/6/7 cables up to 100m.
In addition to supporting high-resolution digital audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio, 3D content can also be displayed when connecting a 3D source and display.
Control is facilitated via manual selection buttons, two-way IR, RS-232, Telnet or Web GUI, while control drivers for a variety of key third party control systems are available. This unit also supports RS-232 pass-through to the receivers.
The PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 is designed to be used with any of the HDBaseT receivers that can utilise the PoE and LAN capabilities of the matrix such as the PU-507RX, PU-507RX-2HCD, PU-507RX-2H, PU-1109RX and PU-507WPRX wallplate receivers.
The LAN serving capabilities of the matrix also provides network connections in every zone enabling connectivity for Smart displays, or any other devices requiring Internet/network access.
Meanwhile, the PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22 8×8 HDMI HDBaseT Lite matrix offers 4K resolution support, HDCP 2.2 compliance and PoC (Power over Cable) to the connected receivers.
This matrix is compatible with the same high resolution, multi-channel digital audio formats as the aforementioned PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 and includes support for 3D content.
All HDBaseT outputs enable video, audio, control and PoC to be distributed up to 60m via single Cat5e/6/7 cable, while control is possible via manual front-panel selection buttons, two-way IR, RS-232, Telnet or Web GUI and control drivers. Again, various key third party control systems are also available. This unit also supports RS-232 pass-through to the receivers.
The PU-8H8HBTPL-4K22 is designed to be used with PU-515PL-RX, PU-515PLRX-2HCD and PU-515PL-WPRX wallplate receivers.
