Videotree has introduced the Aquiom Pro Outdoor TV, a British-made MiniLED 4K HDR display created for premium outdoor environments, including luxury gardens, terraces, poolside spaces, hotels, rooftop bars, restaurants and marine installations.
Developed for year-round exterior use, Aquiom Pro combines MiniLED display performance, IP66 weather protection, optical bonding, high-brightness daylight viewing and a refined frameless glass design for projects where both performance and appearance matter.
Unlike domestic televisions placed in outdoor cabinets or temporary screens brought out for events, Aquiom Pro is a purpose-built outdoor display designed to form part of a permanent, premium installation.
At the heart of Aquiom Pro is a MiniLED backlight system with Full Array Local Dimming, designed to deliver extremely high contrast, strong black levels and controlled brightness across the screen. Unlike conventional edge-lit displays, the MiniLED system allows light to be managed more precisely, helping the picture retain depth, contrast and clarity in demanding outdoor conditions.
The screen is protected by chemically etched toughened anti-reflective, anti-glare glass, optically bonded directly to the display assembly. By removing the air gap found in conventional screen construction, optical bonding reduces internal reflections and light loss, helping the display appear brighter, clearer and more readable in daylight.
Aquiom Pro delivers brightness up to 2,500 nits, and because the screen is optically bonded, the picture reads far brighter and clearer outdoors than the nit figure alone suggests.
Aquiom Pro is built around IP66 weather protection, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installation in exposed locations. IP66 protection is designed to withstand powerful water jets, giving installers and owners confidence that the display can remain outside year-round and be cleaned as part of normal exterior maintenance.
The display also uses a 24V power architecture, designed to support safer outdoor, marine and integrated AV installations. Dual isolated 24V DC inputs provide power redundancy support for demanding projects, while dedicated HDMI, RF antenna and sealed MIL-SPEC D-Type connections support professional installation and control integration.
A discreet Mini OLED identity display at the bottom of the TV allows each screen to be personalised for the installation. It can display details such as a family name, boat or yacht name, company name, room identifier or horizontal logo, using BMP artwork.
“Outdoor spaces are no longer being treated as seasonal extras,” comments Ian Rees, Managing Director, Videotree. “Homeowners, hotels, restaurants and designers are creating exterior spaces that need to work beautifully throughout the year. Aquiom Pro has been developed for those environments, combining MiniLED picture performance, IP66 weather protection, 24V power architecture and a refined finish.”
The launch comes as demand continues to grow for outdoor entertainment spaces, garden rooms, terraces, poolside areas and hospitality settings that can be used more flexibly throughout the year.
For AV integrators, architects, designers and hospitality operators, Aquiom Pro offers a British-made display option suited to high-end residential, commercial and marine projects.
