Cedia Launches Propel, a New Affinity Programme to Accelerate Economic Growth and Business Opportunity for Association Members.

Brands at the programme launch includes: Amazon, Ring, Bryte Restorative Beds, and Immersive Gym.

Today, Cedia announces the launch of Cedia Propel, an affinity programme designed to connect members to new brands in emerging categories and expand access to products and services that can accelerate business growth and revenue opportunity. Propel is open to all Manufacturer Members, existing and new, providing a whole new platform to connect and engage with Cedia Integrators, presenting companies with an opportunity to drive product and service adoption across the residential technology integration channel. Cedia’s integrator members will receive pricing and product training across brands enrolled.

Cedia launches Propel with leading and emerging brands in the world of IoT and the category of health and wellness: Amazon, Ring, Bryte, and Immersive Gym.

The mix of products provides opportunity across all project types, including small residential projects, mid-sized smart homes, and high-end luxury estates. The roster of brands participating will grow over time, with the focus on featuring companies offering innovative products and empowering educational resources.

“Since our CediaStrong campaign, we’ve been interacting with our members at a new level,” says Cedia Senior Vice President of Member Success and Sales, Giles Sutton. “A survey found that 47% of members are seeking new products to add to their portfolios to bolster revenue, more than 50% were struggling to make connections and negotiate deals. We prioritised creating a business affinity programme that will connect manufacturer members and new brands, with our Cedia members, aiming to raise the tide across the industry. When Propel is coupled with Cedia’s vast education and workforce initiatives, we see economic opportunities that impact the channel.”

Propel is designed to be a growth accelerator across the residential technology integration channel.

Immersive Gym developed a way to deliver content dynamically to users as they train — offering dealers a way to create training experiences for customers. Cedia worldwide members have access to the Immersive Gym product in the residential channel, Immersive Gym is offering a free WaterRower to Cedia members as an offer to promote connected content and exercise equipment. 

“Our aim was to turn an uninspiring home gym to one of the most used rooms,” says Immersive Gym Founder, Charles Pearce. “By connecting unique ultra-wide content to hardware, users can train immersed, taking them beyond home to anywhere. Amazon offers Cedia members (US only) access to preferred pricing on Echo and Ring devices, with discounts of 25% off when ordered through Amazon Business. Integrators have seen increasing demand for professional installation with smart home systems. Through the Propel program, Cedia US members benefit from savings on select Echo or Ring products in their customer projects.

Bryte states that sleep is the foundation of health designed an AI smart bed to optimise sleep. Cedia US integrators can add a smart sleep solution. As part of the programme, integrators (US only) will receive 20% commission of the price of the Bryte Restorative Bed purchased. Member customers will receive free shipping by Bryte.
