Industry distributor, DbM, will be heading to EI Live! 2022 to provide visitors with the opportunity to experience products from a number of its key partners, including Barco, Cats, Display Technologies, LG, Meridian Audio, nexgentec, SMS Leddy, Trinnov and Waterfall Audio. The distributor will also be hosting a presentation that discusses the future of audio distribution.
Taking centre stage on Stand 10 will be the MSD3000from LG. This 3000mm-wide Modular Seamless Display (MSD) is bigger by a huge 38in than any conventional TV display. Perfect for bright environments, it features 3 in 1 surface mounted diodes (SMD) and fine pitch RGB LED technology to deliver a vivid, punchy image with bold colours and great contrast for large living rooms and open plan spaces. Comprising 72 individual tiles, the SMDs deliver a superb quality of picture at a wide viewing angle with absolutely no screen burn.
The display will be mounted on an SMS Leddy stand, which is a flexible, aesthetically attractive solution that can easily adapt to new configurations and all-in-one LED displays. Able to blend in with contemporary interior designs, these pre-configured stands fit many types of display, saving installation time and cost for integrators.
Audio on the stand will be provided via loudspeakers from the Waterfall Pro custom Series, as well as Waterfall Audio RS700 amplifiers and a Meridian 218 Zone Controller. The LCR300 is a three-way closed loudspeaker, using three Atohm LD150 drivers, with a soft dome, neodymium magnet tweeter to extend the frequency response to close to 30Khz; the SUB600S, which features two 23cm-long excursion drivers, provides low frequency in a new dimension like never before. The RS700 amplifier is a powerful, high-quality product that can deliver exceptional performance at low frequencies in the most demanding home cinema installations; the Meridian 218 contains the functionality needed to create a Hi-Res audio zone.
Elsewhere at the show, DbM Director of Sales, Barry Sheldrick, will be hosting a presentation entitled The Future of Audio Distribution. The session will consider how traditional analogue and digital audio matrices are point to point, subject to introducing noise, low fidelity and they run outside of the network architecture. With the industry having used ethernet connections in networks for years, they are well understood, utilising standardised connectors and universal switches. Barry will discuss options that provide integrators with simple, high quality, universal, noise-free and easy distribution of audio all over the home or yacht, and what this means for your business.
The DbM team will be on hand throughout the event to discuss its complimentary Design and Specification Service (D&SS), the wider support available to DbM partners and to book in one-to-one visits for dealers to experience all DbM brands at the company’s HQ in Huntingdon.
