CEDIA has announced the release of three new UK Business Bulletins, continuing its commitment to delivering practical business guidance and strengthening advocacy support for members across the UK smart home industry.

Developed with input from CEDIA’s UK Government Affairs Committee, the latest resources cover key operational and regulatory topics affecting technology integrators and smart home professionals, including:

  • Contractual Guidelines for Smart Home Professionals
  • Insurance for the Smart Home Technology Industry: A Practical Guide
  • VAT Guidance for the Smart Home Industry

“These new UK Business Bulletins are designed to give our members practical, relevant guidance on some of the most important business issues affecting the smart home sector today,” says Matt Nimmons. “By expanding this resource library, we are continuing to support integrators with clear, accessible information that helps them operate more confidently and effectively, while also strengthening CEDIA’s wider advocacy efforts across the UK.”

The three newly released guides, now available free of charge to all CEDIA members, expand the UK Business Bulletins collection to eight in total. Covering legal, financial and operational matters, the bulletins are tailored to address the evolving needs of smart home businesses, offering updates and expertise to help companies adapt to a changing regulatory and commercial environment.

The UK Government Affairs Committee was introduced as part of the association’s wider efforts to expand advocacy activity and increase support for members navigating policy, regulatory and business challenges within the region.

Members interested in contributing insight or raising concerns on issues affecting the industry are encouraged to contact CEDIA at member@cedia.org.
