The EX-1UTP-IR-50-POH HDBaseT extender incorporates a transmitter and receiver that supports the transmission of uncompressed 1080p video, multichannel lossless audio, bi-directional IR control and remote power 164 feet/50 meters via a single Cat-5e/Cat-6 cable.
WyreStorm says the extender can transmit 4K content distances as far as 35 meters.
The new product joins WyreStorm’s 70m and 100m extenders to provide installers with a growing choice of extender products to meet a variety of needs.
According to WyreStorm, the extender set can be used in commercial and residential environments, and through its inclusion of PoH technology, the EX-1UTP-IR-50-POH HDBaseT extender eliminates the need for separate power supplies at the display.
The small footprint enables installers to easily hide the transmitter and receiver units behind displays and projectors. Through its two-way IR functionality, integrators can control sources and displays with built-in EDID management.
