TVC Launches Enclosure-Free Outdoor TV

TVC Technology Solutions launches a new generation of outdoor displays designed to remove the compromises traditionally associated with enclosure-based installations, giving installers a robust, high-brightness alternative for both commercial and residential projects.

The new outvue range is purpose-built for outdoor use and is designed to outperform ‘TV-in-a-box’ solutions, delivering stronger performance, simpler installation, wider viewing angles and enhanced security. The company positions the range as a compelling alternative for installers working across pubs, gardens and hospitality environments.

Fully waterproof and dustproof to IP66, impact rated to IK10 and delivering 3000 nit brightness for clear daytime viewing, the displays are available in 55in, 65in and 75in screen sizes, all offering full 4K UHD resolution. The range is aimed at a wide variety of applications including pubs, clubs, beer gardens, sports bars and holiday parks, as well as high-end residential outdoor entertainment spaces.

Chris Whitlock, Technical Director at TVC Technology Solutions, says, “With the summer of sport nearly upon us, we are very pleased to launch the outvue range. Installers have spent years trying to make indoor TVs survive outdoors and it’s always been a compromise. Enclosures introduce failure points, degrade image quality and create call-backs nobody wants. outvue flips that entirely, offering a purpose-built solution that installs cleaner, performs better and keeps working when it matters.”

TVC argues that traditional enclosures inherently introduce limitations. The need for access points creates vulnerabilities to water and dirt ingress, while plastic construction can lack durability in busy environments. Over time, clear front panels can scratch, discolour and suffer from condensation, reducing image clarity and brightness, says the company. Viewing angles are also restricted when displays sit behind protective layers.

By contrast, the outvue displays feature 170/170-degree viewing angles and anti-glare coated tempered glass to maintain image performance in challenging lighting conditions. A powder-coated aluminium chassis provides protection against water, dust and impact, while a standard VESA 400 x 400 mount ensures compatibility with a wide range of installation scenarios. Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs and a USB port, supporting broadcast TV, streaming devices such as Fire TV and Google TV, or locally stored content.

Each model includes a high-bright 3000 nit panel alongside an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness based on surrounding conditions. This approach delivers consistent viewing performance while also helping to reduce energy consumption, whether installed indoors or outdoors.

For projects where aesthetics are critical, the slimmer form factor and cleaner design offer a more integrated look compared to enclosure-based alternatives. This gives commercial AV and CI installers an additional point of differentiation when delivering premium outdoor spaces such as gardens, pool areas and high-end hospitality venues.

The outvue range is available now exclusively from TVC Technology Solutions, with the company encouraging installers to take advantage of the summer of sport by ensuring customers are fully prepared for the season ahead.
