French loudspeaker specialist Triangle has unveiled a new finish for its multi-award-winning AIO Twin connected speaker system: a genuine wood veneer inspired by Macassar ebony, selected for its distinctive grain and timeless elegance.
Equally at home in Art Deco interiors and contemporary living spaces, the distinctive wood creates a bridge between eras. Much like the Macassar finish itself, the AIO Twin embodies a link between tradition and modernity, bringing together within a single system the ritual of vinyl listening and the convenience of digital music, says the maker.
Described as more than just a finish, Macassar is presented as a material whose richness is revealed over time. Depending on the viewing angle or light, the contrasts shift, reflections appear and the wood’s grain offers an ever-changing perspective on the speaker.
Its interpretation on the AIO Twin reveals a vertical grain in which fine lines with golden highlights run through a rich, dark brown base, creating a natural contrast.
The AIO Twin’s iconic oblong grille is clad in Gabriel fabric in a new deep brown shade. Renowned for its quality and sophistication, the fabric from this Scandinavian brand complements the warm tones of the wood veneer while adding a contemporary touch to the overall design.
The AIO Twin brings together the ritual of playing vinyl with the spontaneity of streaming in a ready-to-use system designed for ease of use.
Compatible with Bluetooth HD and Wi-Fi connectivity, the AIO Twin provides access to digital music and can also be paired with other speakers in the AIO ecosystem to stream music throughout multiple rooms of the home.

Widely acclaimed by the international Hi-Fi press for its performance and versatility, the AIO Twin offers simple setup, intuitive operation and lively, precise sound reproduction, in keeping with Triangle’s acoustic signature.
For audio manufacturers, the importance of aesthetics is nothing new. The industry has long understood that, for many consumers, how a product looks in the home can be every bit as influential as how it sounds. However, this is likely to become even more important as AV brands seek to reach customers beyond traditional Hi-Fi circles.
Products increasingly need to work as pieces of interior design as well as audio equipment, making finishes, materials and the ability to complement contemporary living spaces an increasingly important part of the proposition. Triangle’s new Macassar AIO Twin is a good example of that trend in action.
