Three Advanced Full-Motion Wall Mounts From Sanus

Sanus is introducing three Advanced Full-Motion Wall Mounts featuring the company’s new 4D + Shift technology, providing a very strong competitive advantage for installers and an ultra-flexible mounting solution that includes the ability to raise and lower the screen, post installation.

Shift technology is the latest innovation from the Sanus product team. It enables TVs that are already mounted to be raised and lowered by up to 200mm. This adjustability facilitates wall mounting around an existing power outlet on the wall, or the ability to reposition the screen if perhaps a mismeasurement was made during installation. This feature also serves the purpose of raising the screen to add a soundbar below, or to add seasonal decorations to a mantle that would otherwise interfere with the viewing. Vertical shift is easily actioned by adjustment of a screw, or on the VLF828 model, by twisting a handle that can be found behind the screen.

Between them, the VSF817, VMF822 and VLF828 mounts cater for screens from 19in up to 90in and a maximum weight of over 56kg. Each one features 4D full-motion manoeuvrability and the tried and tested Sanus features such as Virtual Axis, FluidMotion and ProSet.

“Our engineers have pulled out all the stops with these new models. The 4D plus Shift technology is a gamechanger for full motion TV mounts,” says Dean Carroll, international sales director – consumer. “As many will have seen at recent trade shows, the simplicity of operation and plethora of useful features represents a significant improvement in TV mounting solutions. We know they are going to be well received by both installers and end-users alike.”

The smallest of the three models, the VSF817, can accommodate screens from 19in to 43in and offers an extension of 43cm, plus a +/- 45 degree swivel and +5/-7 degree tilt option. Its Shift technology allows for a vertical movement of 100mm and the screen mounts 1.8in from the wall.

Catering for screens between 32in and 65in, the VMF822 will Shift by 150mm in the vertical plane, while extending 56cm and providing a swivel of +/- 59 degrees and +5/-10 degree tilt capability. Its slim profile mounts the screen just 1.9” from the wall.

The VLF828 is the largest of the new mounts, with the ability to mount TVs from 42in to 90in just 2.4in from the wall, while retaining a 71cm extension and +/- 46 degrees of swivel and a +5/-15 degree tilt operation. By twisting a handle behind the screen, the Shift adjustment of up to 200mm can be made.

In addition to the Shift technology, the mounts are, in common with all Sanus products, very easy to fit, says the maker. In just 15 minutes it is possible to have securely mounted a screen to the wall, organised and neatly routed the cables, levelled the screen and be assured that it will stay exactly where it’s wanted thanks to the SteadySet feature, which eliminates drifting and all unwanted movement.

The new models are all fully tested, UL compliant and come with a 10-year warranty.
