Tera Generation Solutions has submitted recent media room project, The Loft, to the CEDIA Awards in three categories: home automation, lighting and media room.
The Loft is located in Lahore, Pakistan, with M&K Sound selected as the dedicated speaker brand for the media room.
Waqas Tanveer and his team are said to have gone “above and beyond” for this project, which included delivering “unparalleled comfort and world-class entertainment experiences” to a high-end media room.
Every detail was carefully considered to provide the ultimate audiovisual journey. The luxury Loft residence features a private media room which boasts multidirectional viewing angles, a seating plan inspired by Middle Eastern tradition and a submerged seating layout.
The room is equipped with a 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound system consisting of three M&K Sound IW950s (LCR), two SUR55T (side surrounds), two IW95 (Iin-ceilings), two IC95 (in-ceilings rear surrounds) and one C15S subwoofer.
The room also boasts an ultra short throw 4K laser, a 120 inch floor rising ALR screen and roll-up blackout shades to further improve picture quality during day-time viewing. The plush, vibrant colour fabric cushioning helps with sound absorption and tackles first reflections from height and side channels.
Meanwhile, the living room was kitted out with a 4.1 configuration consisting of four MP300s for on-wall surrounds/fronts and one X12 subwoofer.
