The Smart Building Awards winners were announced on Wednesday, September 18 in their new home of the Inspire Suite at Farnborough Exhibition Centre, also the home of course of EI Live! 2024.
With a new venue, this now larger event is increasing in importance and impact year on year, don’t forget to enter in 2025! (smartbuildingawards.com). This year the awards were proudly presented by Stephen Rhead, Sonos Professional Manager UK & Ireland, main sponsors for the SBAs. Organisers would also like to thank CYP, Drinks Reception sponsors for the evening and all the judges who took the time to help in deciding this year’s winners. The judges this year were; Richard Stevenson – Quick Brown Fox PR and EI’s resident Reviewer, Simon Gregory – Cinema Rooms Ltd, Melanie Malcolm – Bespoke Home Cinemas, Stephen Rhead – Sonos, Vincent McAtammey – Essex AV and myself Daniel J Sait, Editor of Essential Install. The biggest thank you has to go to all those who took part in the awards, those who attended and of course those who won! The standard of entries was extremely high and the move the awards new home was also a big success. Organisers have big plans to grow this event, so stay tuned for more news on 2025!
