Screen Innovations and Shade Innovations have launched ATEN, a new AI-powered support assistant designed to provide the company’s global network of dealers and installers with instant technical support, troubleshooting and product guidance around the clock.
Named after the ancient Egyptian sun god, ATEN has been developed to give custom installers immediate access to Screen Innovations’ technical expertise wherever they are working, whether in the office or on site. Available through any modern web browser, the platform supports both text and voice interaction and has been trained using the company’s extensive library of product documentation, installation guides, technical specifications and support resources.
The assistant covers the manufacturer’s full product portfolio, including projection screens, window coverings, Black Diamond screens, SI Motor Technology, Zigbee and PoE solutions, the SI Ecosystem and drapery products.
Among its capabilities, ATEN can answer installation and troubleshooting questions, provide order tracking information, assist with Zigbee network planning, analyse photographs of wiring or product labels and automatically escalate enquiries requiring pricing, design services or sales support to the appropriate Screen Innovations team.
Built using Anthropic’s Claude AI platform, Screen Innovations says the assistant has been specifically tailored to its products and dealer workflows, with knowledge continually updated as new products and documentation become available.
