Visitors to EI Live! 2023 will have the opportunity to see why QMotion EMEA is a leading manufacturer of motorised window treatments as the company will be showcasing its full product range, including the two latest products to join the line up – Blind Pocket and Revolve. The team will also be discussing how QMotion best serves its customers with an ‘industry-leading’ 20-year warranty on all products – making it the ‘Integrators Choice’.

On display for the first time in the UK, the maker says Revolve is a simple, whisper-quiet and elegant automated curtain solution for homes and businesses. The battery-operated curtain system can be quickly and easily integrated with popular third-party control platforms such as Control4 and Crestron, for intuitive operation. Also new to UK integrators is Blind Pocket, a high-quality blind concealment product that allows integrators to provide their customers with an aesthetically attractive solution at an affordable price. The extruded aluminium boxes are designed to fit roller blinds up to 4000mm width neatly within the ceiling, eliminating the need to build a customer pocket, which ultimately saves installation time and cost.

QMotion EMEA

Visitors can see QMotion’s hybrid-powered Wireless Roller Blind Systems at EI Live! Unlike some other wire free system on the market, these automated treatments provide industry-leading battery life, from 1-4 years, and are available in sizes up to 3800mm wide x 4500mm drop. CuTrac is a virtually noiseless automated curtain track solution, with a choice of power supply and control options, rod sizes and finishes.

Ease of integration is another key attraction of the QMotion range. The Crestron Home driver from Ultamation can be easily configured within minutes to give users control of blinds, curtains and groups through their mobile and touch panel controls on system. Visitors can also learn how QMotion QiS Cat 6 wired Roller Systems can now be integrated into KNX via RS485 and see how QMotion’s partnership with Rako provides a seamless experience when specifying and installing lighting and wireless blind control on a project. Loxone has also introduced a wireless driver for ZigBee controlled QMotion products.

All QMotion blinds are ultra-energy efficient thanks to the company’s patented spring-counterbalancing system which keeps battery power consumption to an absolute minimum and delivers near silent operation in every application. The patented, manual-override command also allows the customer to operate the blinds by hand, without damaging the automated mechanism.

Because QMotion provides full UK fabrication and technical support, the company says it eliminates any issues with international manufacturing and shipping delays, giving installers a direct line to experts who can help them on a project when they need it.
