WiiM has introduced the WiiM Sound Lite, a compact, smart speaker delivering hi-res audio and open-platform streaming to any room. It works alone, paired for true L/R stereo, or integrated into multi-room or home cinema setups with other WiiM devices, including the recently launched WiiM Sound.
With its display-free design and voice control via the optional WiiM Voice Remote 2, Sound Lite offers a streamlined, flexible listening experience that fits into any space.
“WiiM has always believed that great sound should be accessible to everyone, from dedicated audiophiles to everyday music lovers,” says Dr Lifeng Zhao, CEO of WiiM. “With WiiM Sound Lite, we’re extending that vision with a minimalist yet powerful speaker that fits effortlessly into any room while delivering the high-quality, flexible audio performance our community expects.”
WiiM Sound Lite delivers up to 24-bit/192 kHz hi-res playback and 100 W peak output from a 4in long-throw woofer and dual 1in silk-dome tweeters. The easy-to-use AI RoomFit function – requiring only a smartphone – automatically optimises the sound to suit a room.
Users can pair two Sound Lites for a dedicated stereo setup, or integrate one Lite with a WiiM Sound for left/right channels. It can also serve as a surround or centre speaker in a compatible 5.1 home cinema setup.

The Sound Lite connects via Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, or Ethernet. Users can stream directly from their favourite apps, including Google Cast, Spotify/TIDAL/Qobuz Connect, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Roon and Logitech Media Server. Multi-room grouping works across all WiiM devices, including Sound, Amps, Streamers and Sub Pro.
The WiiM Home App lets users control playback, EQ, presets, alarms and device groups from a single interface. Extra features include Smart Presets and Music Alarms that integrate listening into daily routines, while advanced EQ options let users tailor the sound to their environment and preferences.
Sound Lite’s minimalist, display-free design fits neatly on shelves, worktops, or bedside tables. It is wall-mount and speaker-stand ready, helping it blend seamlessly into living spaces.
The WiiM Sound Lite (in Black or White finishes) will be available from early January, with pre-orders open before Christmas, on Amazon UK, Richer Sounds and other authorised WiiM stockists, with a suggested retail price of £229/$229/€269. Henley Audio distributes WiiM in the UK.
