Optoma has introduced the Optoma L1, a new 4K UHD ultra short throw 4LED projector that delivers immersive home cinema and gaming experiences. Featuring a new light weight, compact chassis for easy portability from room to room combined with an eco-friendly design, the Optoma L1 delivers extraordinary colour, contrast, and advanced gaming features at an impressive price point, says the maker.
Built with 4LED technology, the Optoma L1 offers high brightness, colour performance, up to 105in images from less than 30cm away from the projection surface, and a long life span of up to 30,000 hours in Eco Mode for maintenance-free operation and greater energy efficiency compared to lamp-based projectors.
Take gaming to the next level with the Optoma L1 featuring built-in Advanced Gaming mode for low latency gaming with a 27.4ms response time in 4K at 60Hz and 15.2ms in 1080p at 240Hz. With value-added gaming features – including a target master for boosted accuracy, real-time display frames per second, and full 3D support – the Optoma L1 provides gamers with a competitive advantage and an enhanced, big-screen gaming experience.
Designing products with sustainability in mind, Optoma initiated its green promise, to consider every stage of a product’s lifecycle from design, manufacturing, packaging, logistics and usage. Optoma’s L1 chassis design is made with up to 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastics, its packaging is made from 85% recycled paper and up to 99% of its packaging is recyclable. Energy-saving 4LED technology gives users up to 30,000 hours of operability, requires minimal maintenance, and is mercury-free, further lowering its carbon footprint. The compact size of the Optoma L1 projector reduces packaging, by up to 50% smaller than competitors, resulting in more efficient logistics to help reduce carbon emissions.
“Cost savings and energy efficiency continue to be important factors for consumers looking to enhance their home entertainment viewing,” says Oliver Blundell, Product Manager, Optoma. “The Optoma L1 was designed with cutting-edge LED technology for a more economical and energy saving option than lamp-based projectors, while also delivering an impressive low input lag and new value-added gaming features.”
