Onkyo has announced the Onkyo TX-RZ30 Channel A/V Receiver – the latest addition to its premium RZ Series lineup.

Thanks to its unique analogue circuitry and high-end amplifier technology, this 9.2-channel, 100 watt-per-channel SMART AV Receiver delivers immersive sound with what the manufacturer is calling “soaring highs” and deeper bass for a “mind-blowing” film, music and gaming experience at home.

The TX-RZ30 joins the RZ lineup of Onkyo’s award-winning AVRs featuring Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, Dirac Live Room Correction, Dolby Atmos 3D Sound, THX Certification, IMAX Enhanced, Klipsch Optimise Mode, and more.

The powerful and immersive TX-RZ30 A/V Receiver offers Class A/B amplification, HDMI 2.1a, 8K/4K Ultra HD resolution, and 40Gbps transfer speeds, allowing users to experience full bandwidth functionality for fastest refresh to keep up with the newest gaming consoles.

Thanks to custom low-noise power transformers and smoothing capacitors, the TX-RZ30 hits lows (5 Hz) and highs (100 kHz) for an expansive audio experience that Onkyo claims its competitors cannot match, while Dirac Live Room Correction Full Bandwidth refines the best sound for individual room layouts.

Optional user upgrades are available for Dirac Live Bass Control, which uses machine learning and AI to quickly determine ideal settings for any room layout.

The Onkyo TX-RZ30 includes popular streaming apps for seamless playback of digital content through all 9.2 channels. The Onkyo TX-RZ30 AVR includes advanced music streaming and connectivity, and works with smart home assistants like Hey Google and Siri.

Additionally, Roon Tested, Google Cast built-in, AirPlay2, Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora and Tunein puts users’ entire high resolution music libraries at their fingertips.

The whole home entertainment experience can be aligned with this state-of-the-art technology and fueled by studio-grade processing, Bluetooth transmitter with aptX HD for sharing audio to Bluetooth headphones and more.

With a Dirac Live Room Correction Full Bandwidth licence included with the purchase and an optional Dirac Live Bass Control upgrade available for Single/Multi, users are ensured perfectly calibrated audio from the get-go. Dirac Live Room Correction can calibrate the full frequency range (20 Hz to 20 kHz) of music and film sound.

The optional Dirac Live Bass Control ensures that the two independent subwoofer outputs are calibrated with all other speakers to provide bass refinement and fine details while enhancing mid and high frequencies.

IMAX Enhanced is a vital part of the premium home theatre experience, delivering object-based audio for precisely placed sound and movement in 3D space, wile Dolby Atmos takes listeners into the heart of the action by creating a 3D sound environment via object-based audio that allows sounds to move freely in space, including overhead.

In 1993, Onkyo became the first consumer home theatre electronics brand in its category to be THX Certified. It takes passing hundreds of tests to achieve and bear the mark of the THX Certified logo.

THX Certification is a globally recognised assurance of uncompromising quality, consistency and performance blending art, technology and the dynamics of real-world listening environments to ensure products deliver the artist’s vision.

Using this testing methodology, THX engineers have evaluated and certified the audio fidelity of Onkyo’s TX-RZ30 ensuring it delivers the optimal entertainment experience.

This Onkyo AVR can send and receive audio via Bluetooth wireless technology. Users can stream from a device to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs, or transmit audio playing through the AVR to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX or aptX HD codecs including 24-bit audio over aptX HD. The improved data transfer capabilities of the latest generation of Bluetooth ensure clear and reliable sound reproduction.

The Onkyo TX-RZ30 easily integrates into an existing Smart Home ecosystem, including popular streaming apps for seamless playback of digital content through all 9.2 channels. Plus, with the addition of a Sonos port, high quality sound can be distributed through a Sonos wireless network.

Not stopping there, Klipsch and Onkyo have teamed up to implement the precise crossover values for specific Reference Premiere speakers, allowing users to easily integrate their products with the TX-RZ30.

Integrated technologies include Hi-Res Audio, Roon Tested, HDMI, WiFi Certified, Bluetooth, Works with Apple AirPlay, Works with Sonos – w/Volume Pass-Through, Chromecast Built-in, Works with Google Home, Amazon HD Music, TIDAL, Deezer, Spotify, Pandora, Dirac Live, THX, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS X, IMAX Enhanced, TuneIn, Works with Sonos, and Qualcomm aptX HD.
