Kramer has announced a new range of labeled USB-C Cables designed to streamline pro AV system installation and maintenance for integrators and end-users.
Eliminating the guesswork for integrators and end users, Kramer’s introduction of new 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C cables feature icons that indicate their ability to support video, data and charging.
With the new C-U32/MFF USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ passive cables, the cables provide bi-directional plug-and-play connectivity for the delivery of 4K@60 4:4:4 video, fast data transfer between PC, Mac and mobile compatible devices and monitors, web cameras, printers, scanners and keyboards.
The new range, featuring Kramer’s unique K-Lock connectivity, features transfer rates of up to 10Gbps (between USB 3.2 hosts and devices), as well as rapid 100W power (5A, 20V) charging that maintains powered devices.
Kramer’s K-lock connectors offer up to 5 pounds of pull resistance against being accidentally disconnected. The cables are made of micro coaxial wires with triple shielding to help prevent electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable data communications. The cable construction has been designed in such a way that it provides greater flexibility for easy manipulation, reportedly giving a significant advantage for the user experience.
“Here at Kramer, we are always looking to improve efficiency with intuitive, user-friendly product design,” says Brooke Ellingworh, VP Sales, Kramer EMEA. “This latest USB-C icon labeling system allows both Integrators and end-users to see, at a glance, that they have the right cable to deliver the required data, video and charging—safe in the knowledge that the connectivity is secure from cable strain mishaps.”
The Kramer cables feature USB backward compatibility (1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0), are RoHS REACH compliant and are available in lengths of 6, 10 and 15-foot, or 1.8, 3 and 4.6-metres, respectively.
Available now, Kramer’s USB-C 3.2 cables are in stock for immediate shipment.
