Following the success of the Horus passive range of speakers, the Elipson Horus Active BT range now includes two active speakers with elegant design and audiophile performance: the compact Horus 6B Active BT and the Horus 11F Active BT floorstanding speaker.
Both models feature two 50W RMS stereo amplification, a sophisticated bass reflex system and high-quality drivers: glass fibre reinforced cellulose pulp bass-midrange drivers and silk dome tweeters powered by a neodymium magnet, for natural, accurate and detailed sound reproduction.
The Horus Active BT range boasts an audiophile-quality desktop speaker thanks to USB audio input and thanks to this connection, the Horus 6B Active BT transforms any work setup into a true audiophile studio, claims the manufacturer. No external DAC is needed – the speaker is recognised directly by a PC or Mac.
The Horus Active BT features an MM (moving magnet) phono input, allowing users to connect a turntable directly without an external preamplifier. This connection makes the Horus 6B Active BT the ideal solution for vinyl enthusiasts looking for an easy-to-install, all-in-one system with built-in amplification and balanced audio reproduction.
The Horus Active BT is also equipped with an HDMI ARC input, allowing direct connection to a compatible television. This interface provides audio return via a single HDMI cable, simplifying cabling and sound management. Audio is automatically transmitted in digital quality.
The Horus Active BT speakers are available in three finishes: Light Wood/Beige, Walnut/Dark Grey and Black/Carbon.
The Horus 6B Active BT is £399 including VAT retail, while the Horus 11F Active BT is priced at £899 including VAT retail.
The Horus 6B Active BT is now available, the 11F Active BT follows in early October. All further information and sample requests should be made through Avoke at av@avoke.co.uk.
