Denon has introduced the Denon DCD-3000NE CD Player, which has been optimised to provide pristine SACD/CD and DSD playback via a 384kHz/32-bit DAC and Ultra AL32 processing.
The Denon DCD-3000NE supports standard and high-resolution digital audio playback. Users can enjoy all digital audio formats, including SACD/CD and DSD (2.8MHz/5.6MHz), as well as DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW files up to 192kHz/24-bit, and CD-R/RW content.
The device features Denon’s Ultra AL32 Processing technology, which uses advanced interpolation algorithms to deliver high-resolution audio output. Supporting input signals up to 384kHz/24-bit, this processing technology up-samples audio to create smoother waveforms and enhance sound reproduction.
Equipped with a high-performance 384kHz/32-bit digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) in a quad configuration, the DCD-3000NE delivers clean sound with spaciousness, detail, and a wide dynamic range.
For purists, the Pure Direct mode disables the display and digital outputs, minimising any potential interference with the audio signal. The brand states that this ensures that all users hear is clean, detailed, and accurate sound.
Denon has also included its patented S.V.H. (Suppress Vibration Hybrid) drive mechanism. This technology ensures each disc loads quickly and spins with precision, reportedly enabling superior data reading accuracy.
The Denon DCD-3000NE will be available for purchase at authorised Denon retailers starting in December 2024, with a suggested retail price of £2,200 / €2,500.
